No way to hide your computer from the internet
The only way is to make it more of a hassle for pple trying to intrude into your system.
The other way is senseless, disconnect yourself from the internet which is impossible in current internet age.
If I can be proven wrong, you can come and slap me in the face…:))
The one technique I come across is random Mac address, specifically changing your hardware address in intervals, on your ethernet interface. Go google for it…
if you are accessing from home, you may also want to spoof your router’s MAC address.
