By ben sim

common issues with HP laptops especially with the fan caused by thermal heat.

the links below describe the above problem with HP laptops until better intel processors were made:

note: i personally have used Compaq, Apple iBook, HP, Acer and Dell laptops over the past 20 years. Acer brand of laptops is my favourite follow by Dell in reliability. HP has also bad keys on their keyboard, dell has narrow keyboard which make it hard to type and Acer has the most comfy keyboard. this is just my own personal experience as there are many other brands and models available. it is in no way accurate in predicting the best laptop.

to add on to the sub quality of hp laptops, theirs were made by outsourcing to third party manufacturers. this is market whisper, just ask uncle google.

generally, talking about the manufacturing facility in china, the reason of having foxconn as apple’s main contractor, reasons that i can think of, taiwanese are known for their ruthlessness when china first open up to the world. they have better grip over the chinese workers then. westerners are smart that they can play the good guy and let the money grabbing taiwanese do the dirty job. that is one reason why apple products are better in quality especially the iphones. the japanese on the other hand are subtle and as usual being mild, and polite towards the chinese, too much that i think it has something to do with history. again, the above is my personal opinion formed after spending some time in china during 2011, and in no way represent any truth in it.
