comparing iPhones and Android phones – the security!!

By ben sim

after gathering information from uncle google, this is what i conclude:

there is no need for iphone to run an antivirus app. first of all, iOS from Apple has their built in security mechanism and secondly, apple does not allow outsiders to intrude into their iOS to meddle with their proprietary security mechanism, meaning antivirus companies are unable to build security apps meant for iPhones. the safest way to secure your iphone is to opt for software update whenever there is one from apple. also, you may use a VPN to encrypt and secure your data from your iphone.

comparing android phones, they still lag behind by leaps and bounds dealing with their security mechanism. but over time, google seems to be improving on this. they are sniffing off ‘many many’ malicious apps from the google play store.
