malwarebytes is champ, coming from the horse’s mouth
other anti-virus software are no good! and yeah, malwarebytes pricing has also gone up a few times in the past year.
this is informative though, good to know that anti-virus is indeed losing relevance:

recommendation: nothing has changed for the past few years, your windoze PC still need to run anti-virus and anti-malware concurrently.
